The bending radius for gold processing depends on the thickness of the material and the width of the bending groove. A simple and convenient, albeit somewhat rough, method is as follows: Generally, when the thickness of the plate is not greater than 6 mm, the bending radius within the plate can be directly calculated using the plate thickness as the radius. When the thickness of the plate is between 6 mm and 12 mm, the inner bending radius of the plate is typically 1.25 to 1.5 times the plate thickness. When the thickness of the plate exceeds 12 mm, the internal bending radius is generally taken as 2 to 3 times the plate thickness.
